Perfect Chicken Wings

Yields1 Serving

 1 Package of Wings
1

Preparation:
Preheat your grill or oven to 425°F.
Using heavy-duty aluminum foil, create a small foil “bowl” for each package of chicken wings to hold the wings and marinade.
These Chicken Wings can be prepared on either the grill or in the oven using the same basic method.

2

Place the foil bowls on a baking sheet and or over the grill cook at 425°F, turning the wings occasionally to ensure even cooking. If you are cooking on the grill, cook the wings for 5-7 minutes above the flame. Then flip all of them and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes. If you are cooking in the oven, cook until internal temperature of 165 turning the wings occasionally to ensure even cooking.

3

If cooking on a grill move the foil bowls to an indirect heat area on the grill for a moment (meaning above an area that the flame is not on). If cooking in the oven, take the wings out of the foil bowl and place the wings directly on the baking sheet.

4

If cooking on grill, take the wings out of the foil bowl and place them directly over the flames on the part of the grill that has the flames on and close the lid of the grill and sear for 3-4 minutes until lightly charred. If cooking in oven, place baking sheet under the broiler in the oven and broil for 2 minutes on each side to achieve a caramelized finish.

5

Regardless if you are cooking via grill or oven, return the wings to the foil bowl that had the excess sauce/marinade in it and you are ready to serve. If you would like the excess sauce/marinade to be warmed back up, place the foil bowl on indirect heat on the grill and or back in the oven for several minutes if cooking in an oven. Enjoy!
