Shopping List

1 lb The Butcher’s Block's stir fry beef or chicken
1 lb Fresh stir fry vegetables
Any stir fry sauce, or soy sauce with a little brown sugar and ginger mixed in
 2 Pouches micro-rice
Sesame seeds, if you want to be fancy

Cooking Instructions

1

Place a large skillet over med-high heat.

2

Open packages. Get sauce ready. ⅓ C. Soy, 1t. Ground ginger, and 2 T. brown sugar with a splash of water work great in a pinch.

3

Add a little olive oil to pan. Sprinkle sliced beef or chicken carefully over hot oil and DO NOT MOVE. Let it brown for 2 - 3 minutes. Give it a little stir, then move to outer edges.

4

Add vegetables. Let sizzle for a couple minutes without stirring. Brown is good.

5

Give the vegetables a stir, leaving the meat around the edge of the pan. Put a lid on the skillet and set the timer for 4 minutes.

6

Check the vegetables for your preferred done-ness. Put the lid back on for a couple more if you like your broccoli more cooked. Remember it will cook a little more in the sauce.

7

Microwave the rice pouches.

8

Remove the lid, add the sauce, stir, and cook 2 minutes.

9

Place a mound of rice on a hot plate and top with stir-fry mixture. Bonus points for shaking on a few sesame seeds.
