Yields1 Serving
8 oz The Butcher’s Block's King Crab (8oz per person)
 White wine
1

Purchase 8oz-1lb of crab per person.

2

Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Keep a maximum of 2 days after thawing—eat as soon as possible after thawing.

3

King crab legs are cooked on the boat to preserve their freshness. You need only warm them through prior to eating.

4

In the oven: Lay out in a single layer on a cookie sheet or other shallow baking dish. Add 1/2” of HOT liquid—we recommend white wine. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350 for 7-10 minutes.

5

On the stove: Bring 2” of water (add white wine if you wish) to a large stockpot. Bring to a boil. The use of a steamer basket is recommended but not necessary. Add the crab legs—put the lid on. Crab legs are done when you can smell them, about 5 minutes.
