Bring turkey roll and side dishes to room temperature before cooking. This takes about 1 hour. Place turkey roll on a rack in any oven-safe dish. (dinner rolls and cranberry orange relish does not require cooking)
HI-LOW METHOD: Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Leave the net on. Pat dry. Season and rub with oil.
Place roll in the center of the oven, set a timer for 20 minutes, and then turn the oven down to 350. (DO NOT OPEN OVEN!)
Now you may use all the extra space in your oven for your other dishes. REMOVE PLASTIC LIDS and place other side dishes in the oven alongside the turkey roll. Be careful to turn the turkey roll for even browning if it ends up in the back or corner. Cover with foil later in cooking to prevent excess browning if necessary.
Cook turkey roll to an internal temperature of 165 degrees in the center (this takes anywhere from two to two and a half hours depending on the oven). When turkey roll reaches 165 degrees, pull it from the oven, cover it in foil, and cover it in a towel to rest for 15 minutes. Turn the oven off and crack the oven door, leaving sides in the oven to stay hot until you are ready to serve.
Cook all side dishes for roughly 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees.
Every oven is different. Did we say use a thermometer? ENJOY!!!
(remember to say your prayers and tell your friends and family how much they mean to you).
