Processing Orders

Because orders will be shipped frozen, please allow 24-48 hours for Team The Butcher’s Block by Maxbauer to process orders. Orders will be packed and shipped on Tuesdays from our Union Street store.

Packaging Orders

The Butcher’s Block by Maxbauer Meat products are vacuum-sealed to extend freshness, save you time, mess, repackaging, and waste. We’ve completely eliminated the need for Styrofoam with our new state-of-the-art packaging equipment. Packaging is made in the United States and is 100% recyclable. Did we mention that vacuum-sealed means it’s ready for your freezer? Win!

Meat product packaging isn’t the only thing that’s recyclable. The cardboard box and insulation that your order will arrive is also “green!” We’ve partnered with Evergreen Manufacturing (who has worked with large cold-chain packaging companies like Kraft and Johnson & Johnson) and KSS Enterprises to ensure our shipping container is sustainable and eco-friendly. Not only is the cardboard box recyclable, but the liner is 100% recyclable PET and does not include any adhesives, papers, PVC or contaminants.  Fun fact: the insulation is made of recycled water bottles!

Shipping Information

Orders will be shipped via FedEx. You will receive an email confirmation with tracking details once your order has been shipped. Shipping options include FedEx Home Delivery, FedEx Ground, FedEx 2-Day, FedEx Overnight. Our site has been set up to share the shipping options with you that allows our order to arrive to you safely. FedEx Home Delivery runs 7 days a week – you may receive your order on Saturday or Sunday.
